Summer Place at The University of Hartford   Map
The University of Hartford offers four unique and exciting summer camp programs that share a commitment to excellence in curriculum, staff and facilities and a belief that learning and fun go hand-in-hand. Summer Place (grades 1-9) campers create a schedule of enrichment and athletic activities that reflects their personal interests. Summer Place Leaders in Training (grades 10-11) campers develop leadership and communication skills to become strong and confident leaders. Kinderplace (children entering kindergarten) and Li'l Place (pre-school children) combine the fun of camp with appropriate learning experiences.

Ballet Theatre Company   Map
The School of Ballet Theatre Company (SBTC) has a diverse faculty with training and experience in major ballet methodologies including Vaganova, Royal Academy of Ballet, Cecchetti, and Balanchine. By building and nurturing a student-teacher relationship based in trust and respect, as well as employing faculty that share their passions in an inspiring way to students, SBTC creates the optimal conditions for impactful creative learning. SBTC believes that while classical technique should be the foundation of a dancer's training, it is equally important that dancers be exposed to multiple methodologies and dance forms to assist them in developing their own artistic voice and facilitating their highest level of individual achievement. With a strong focus on discipline and respect, SBTC offers high-caliber training in Ballet, Pointe, Pre-Pointe, Variation, Contemporary, Jazz and Hip Hop for ages 3 and up. In addition, the students share a facility with the professional company, enriching each student's experience by allowing them to observe those dancers in classes, rehearsals, and performances. Students are also offered opportunities to perform with the professional company in productions such as Stephanie Dattellas' The Nutcracker.
